Jimena Sayavedra joined Newmark’s Chicago industrial group as an associate in 2019. Jimena works with Elise Couston, SIOR advising clients on acquisitions, dispositions, leases, build-to-suits, and investment properties. Prior to joining Newmark, Jimena served as an associate advisor with Paine/Wetzel and Associates in the sale and leasing of industrial properties. During her previous career as an urban planner, Jimena worked as a project manager for Stanhope Consulting, a boutique firm specializing in providing public engagement and community outreach services. Jimena also held various consulting roles in Chicago and in External Relations at CMAP (Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning), where she gained extensive experience in regional planning, GIS, demographic and market analysis.
