With over 30 years of commercial real estate finance experience, Jim Pierson, Managing Director, is responsible for nationwide loan origination and focuses on multifamily, office, retail, and industrial properties. Throughout his career, Mr. Pierson, has originated over $3.5 billion in loans and is based out of Walker & Dunlop’s Phoenix, Arizona office.
Prior to joining Walker & Dunlop, Mr. Pierson was Co-Founder and Principal of Legacy Capital Advisors and has been active in the Phoenix market since 1990. Mr. Pierson has focused on capital advisory services including mortgage banking, mortgage brokerage, and direct mortgage lending. Throughout his career, Mr. Pierson has been a direct Fannie Mae DUS lender, a Freddie Mac Seller/Servicer, in addition to representing numerous national life insurance companies, HUD, and structured finance lenders. Mr. Pierson graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1989 with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
