Jay Gomez is a partner in the Bay Area Retail Investment team and the leader of the team’s retail investment properties practice. The team specializes nationwide in the acquisition and disposition of shopping centers, single tenant net lease, mixed-use properties, 1031 exchanges properties, and buyer advisory services. Mr. Gomez has consistently been a top producer and real estate investment advisor throughout his career. His retail product knowledge, market expertise, personal relationships, and experience is widely recognized amongst the investment community nationwide. Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Gomez along with partner James Kaye, co-led Colliers International’s Capital Markets Investment Services Group in Silicon Valley and was a co- founder of the Colliers NNN Group in the United States. Over the past decade the team successfully closed over 250 real estate transactions across all product types for a total consideration of over $2 billion.
