Adams was born and raised on Long Island, New York before attending the University of Colorado at Boulder where he received a Bachelors in Architecture. He worked in Vail, Colorado for several years at Pierce Architects before moving to Miami in 2003. He met is wife, Jessica Adams, in 2008. She is also a Douglas Elliman agent and their Senior Director of Luxury Sales. Jason and Jessica have two children and reside in Coral Gables, Florida.
