About
James Scott as Managing Principal of CBRE Capital Advisors heads investment banking in the Americas and is a senior member of the Capital Markets leadership team. Mr. Scott advises public and private companies in the real estate sector on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Scott was a Managing Director in the real estate investment banking group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Previously, he was a member of the real estate investment banking group at UBS and the merger and acquisitions group at JP Morgan. Mr. Scott began his career as an attorney with the law firm of Reboul MacMurray (now Ropes and Gray).
Over the course of his career in investment banking, Mr. Scott has advised on mergers and acquisitions transactions valued at more than $100 billion and raised capital in excess of $30 billion for clients in both the public and private markets.
