James Segerdahl serves as Global Managing Partner of K&L Gates. He is a leading insurance coverage lawyer, designated in the area by "The Best Lawyers in America," and has represented Fortune 500 and other policyholder clients in significant matters involving hundreds of millions of dollars. Jim has litigated on behalf of clients in jurisdictions across the country, has written and lectured extensively on insurance coverage and other issues, is a co-author of Policyholder’s Guide to the Law of Insurance Coverage (1997), a treatise published by Aspen Law & Business and updated annually, and served as executive editor of the Journal of Insurance Coverage (a quarterly publication of Aspen Law & Business published from 1998-2002).
