About
James is a Co-Founder and Vice President of Coastal Commercial. He has over 10 years experience in investment advisory and a strong track record of identifying very profitable real estate investments for his clients. Prior to starting Coastal Commercial he joined Marcus & Millichap in 2008 with the National Multi-Housing Group. He joined Nathan Holthouser’s team at CBRE in 2015 and specialized in advising clients with their retail investment properties in Southern California. James has a Business Economics degree from University of California Irvine (UCI) with a specialization in international issues. During his time at UCI James competed as a NCAA Division I decathlete and was a 4-time Big West Conference qualifier and scholar athlete. During his free time, he enjoys bodysurfing and spending time at the beach, snowboarding, horseback riding with the Los Caballeros, and is an avid chess player.
