Ignacio graduated with a BA degree in Marketing and Advertising from Villanueva University in Madrid, Spain, after having completed his primary education in one of Madrid’s international schools, Runnymede College (British education). During college, Ignacio worked several summers at Portugal Sotheby’s International Realty and ERA Portugal, both family owned companies. Having grown up in a real estate family, Ignacio understood from a young age the value and prestige of the Sotheby’s brand, and the importance of a global network. After finishing university, Ignacio, who has dual Spanish/American nationality, moved to Miami in order to gain a broader perspective of the international real estate market, and began working in One Sotheby’s International Realty, the city’s premier luxury real estate company. At One Sotheby´s, Ignacio is the International Division Coordinator. His main responsibilities include negotiating and closing broker referral agreements with foreign real estate companies, as well as providing them with marketing and sales support.
