About
Ian Coutts is the founding Principal of ICC Associates, a Commercial Real Estate Investment and Advisory Services firm. Since its inception, ICC has been actively involved in CRE loan investment, and advisory services, including, but not limited to, advising sellers on tens of millions of dollars in performing and non-performing loan sales, assisting borrowers in CMBS loan workouts, advising on capital raising and complex deal structures, as well as investing in property and loans. Prior to ICC, Ian was the VP of Loan Asset Management at Torchlight Investors, where he oversaw a team of asset managers and the companies’ specially serviced loan portfolio of 120+ loans valued upwards of $1.8 billion. In addition, Ian personally resolved $830 million in specially serviced loans securing commercial mortgage backed securities, wholly owned loans and subordinate participations. Ian started his CRE career at LNR Property (now a subsidiary of Starwood Property Trusty) in 2005, where he was a participate of their prestigious analyst rotation program and became a Senior Loan Asset Manager.
