Hugo Cardona is an associate at the DeLaRosa Team at Marcus & Millichap - Miami. Hugo was born in Bogota, Colombia, but was raised in a variety of countries including Grand Cayman & Zurich, Switzerland. He graduated with a BSBA in Finance from the University of Central Florida and followed his curiosity into the Real Estate world. Hugo started his career understanding the foundation of Real Estate while working for a construction company as a Project Manager. While there, he earned his General Contractor license and learned what it takes to bring a project to reality. Shortly after, he joined a Private Equity Firm focused on Development in South Florida, directing various asset repositionings including a Hotel project in the Florida Keys to an Office Redevelopment in Miami Beach. Enjoying the unique relationships that come with the business, Hugo decided to pursue Investment Sales at Marcus & Millichap. Fluent in both Spanish & English, as well as having lived in seven countries, Hugo’s international exposure and cultural sensitivity make him an invaluable asset during any Real Estate transaction or project.
