Tanner began his mortgage banking career in 2002. A graduate of the College of Charleston, Tanner currently serves as a Managing Director of Berkadia’s Raleigh office. He has specialized almost exclusively in the origination, processing, and servicing of FHA-insured project loans. He has been particularly active using the FHA Section 221(d)(4), 232, 223(f) and 223(a)(7) programs. These loans have encompassed a wide array of residential housing types, and have employed a large variety of funding sources, including FNMA, GNMA, Taxable and Tax-Exempt bonds, HOME, CDBG, and Historic and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits. He is married with three children and a member of Edenton Street United Methodist Church. He enjoys the outdoors.
