About
Gregory Austin is a Senior Managing Director in the Houston office of Marcus & Millichap with over 26 years of experience in the Multi Housing Advisory industry. Since 1994, Mr. Austin and his partners have successfully negotiated disposition sales of over $11.2 billion in over 440 transactions totaling over 151,000 multi housing units in Texas and throughout the United States. This includes the disposition of single assets and portfolios of multi housing units.
Prior to Mr. Austin’s career in Multi Housing Advisory, he was the Executive Vice President and Partner in a local apartment development company, Builder Interests, Incorporated, that successfully planned, constructed, managed and sold over 12,000 multi housing units in over 20 markets in Texas, Florida, Georgia and North and South Carolina from 1980 to 1993.
Mr. Austin attended The University of Texas at Austin where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Real Estate and Finance. In his spare time, Mr. Austin enjoys time with his wife Karen and their four children and grandchildren at their beach house in Santa Rosa Beach Florida.
