Being a native Angelino and having lived from Malibu to Silver Lake, Gersh has a diverse understanding of the California lifestyle. He fell under the spell of architecture at a young age in Malibu, and his interest has only blossomed from there. While touring the world in the music business, Gersh gained a larger perspective of different architectural styles and the statement they made about the people and culture of the region. Jeeb O’Reilly, also with Compass, introduced Gersh to restoring and selling architectural homes in 1995, and the two have been working together ever since.
