Started in Bloomingdale's as a service associate in August of 2007 and progressed through the years to my current position, as the merchandiser for the home department. Shortly after starting in the company, I was promoted to sales in the furniture, mattresses, and rug department at the age of 20. Held that position for about 2 years, then was promoted to being the supervisor of the big ticket department in October, 2009. Supervised and executed all operational and sales tasks for the big ticket area. Strong relationships with the Bloomingdale's buyers, representatives, and central executives, led me to assist them in buying merchandise for the Bergen County store, for the past 6 years. By assisting in buying merchandise and knowing the clientele, business turned. Attended tent events in the White Plains/Manhattan branches, where a select few are invited to attend.
