Geoffrey Newman joined Newmark Grubb Knight Frank as a senior managing director in the New York headquarters, adding to the roster of industry leaders forming the firm's tenant representation platform. Mr. Newman brings a broad scope of brokerage capabilities with a unique focus on universities and not-for-profit organizations. He has also represented multinational companies from a wide range of industries, including DHL and Cravath, Swaine & Moore in two of the largest New York transactions in the last decade. Mr. Newman was formerly a managing director at Studley, where he led one of the most respected and creative teams in the industry, developing and leasing over 5 million square feet of commercial property. Mr. Newman's team developed a specialty practice serving New York's universities and not-for-profit organizations in addition to managing complex construction and redevelopment projects.
