Garrett joined Boyd Commercial in October of 2020 and is primarily focused on industrial Landlord/Tenant representation in East Houston submarkets.
Prior to Boyd, Garrett lived and worked in Austin, TX. He was the Committee Director for the Texas House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security & Public Safety. Garrett served in multiple other capacities during his time with the Legislature and maintained a very active presence in Texas politics.
Garrett is originally from Many, Louisiana where he attended Many High School and earned a scholarship to the University of Texas to play offensive line for the Longhorns. Garrett obtained his degree in Government with a minor in Business from UT while earning a place on the Big XII Commissioner’s Honor Roll each semester he was there. Garrett was also an active member of the Texas Cowboys and devoted countless hours of service to various organizations in Austin such as The Arc of the Capital Area and Rosedale Elementary school.
