About
Eric Zimmermann joined Big V Property Group in 2023 as an advisor to the Executive Committee and stepped into the role of Chief Acquisitions Officer later that same year. Eric's principal mission will be to steer the company's acquisitions strategy, leveraging his vast knowledge in retail acquisitions, capital markets, and equity investment. He will work in tandem with the core executive teams to ensure Big V's endeavors meet and exceed its business plan goals and objectives. Prior to Big V Property Group, Eric joined Eastdil (predecessor to Eastdil Secured) in 2002 as a Managing Director in their Atlanta office. Mr. Zimmermann joined the firm after working 15 years in the retail investment industry, where he focused primarily on the sale, JV, and financing of open-air shopping centers and portfolios throughout the United States. Recently completed transactions include the $660M sale of the iconic Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, MO, the $494M sale of Avalon – a mixed-use development in north Atlanta, and the $142M sale of Southlands Town Center in Aurora, CO.
