Eric Janssen was born and raised in the Netherlands and has a world of experience–literally. After college, Eric moved to Jakarta, Indonesia, before charting a course for Chicago to live out a new adventure. After a stint in the restaurant management industry, he ventured into the world of real estate, obtaining his broker’s license in 1988. Eric quickly achieved a string of successes in management at three major real estate firms: Equity Office Management LLC, Berger Financial Services and Holsten Management Corp. During his tenure at Holsten, he started working with national financial institutions, assisting them with the management of foreclosed commercial properties. During this time, he also gained experience as an investment real estate broker. New challenges soon followed. In 1995, Eric joined a Chicago based real estate firm as vice president, eventually becoming senior vice president.
