Mr. Berkman is an Executive Director within Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets Group based in Washington, DC. He specializes in the disposition of office properties in the Washington, DC metropolitan region. Mr. Berkman has sold properties around the country and his marketing experience gives him access to a wide variety of domestic and international capital and investors.
Mr. Berkman brings 28 years of experience to Cushman & Wakefield. He was a member of the Capital Markets group at Grubb & Ellis for 14 years, where he served as a co-chairman of the Institutional Capital Markets Advisory Board. Mr. Berkman consistently ranked among the company’s top 20 producers and qualified repeatedly for the elite Circle of Excellence. In 2010, Mr. Berkman was the top Grubb & Ellis investment broker nationwide, and named Northern Virginia's top investment broker by the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors.
