Professional Experience
Douglas Sitt joined RRA full-time in June 2020. He recently graduated from the Business School at George Washington University where he studied real estate and communications.
Through his past experience at Vesper Holdings, one of the largest student housing owners in the U.S., Douglas has grown to become an expert in the student housing industry. He worked at Vesper Holdings as an acquisitions analyst for four straight summers while attending college. There he learned the key metrics that student housing buyers look for in new acquisitions.
Additionally, Douglas has experience as a real estate developer and successfully completed his own real estate project from start to finish. He quickly realized the South Bronx as an area that was booming and ripe for development and found an opportunity to redevelop a mixed-use building at 126 Alexander Avenue in the South Bronx, while attending college. He bought a building that was deteriorating and outdated and redeveloped the building to luxurious apartments.
Through Douglas’s vast experience in the student housing business, he brings tremendous value to buyers and sellers in the student housing space.
