About
With more than seven years of experience in multifamily real estate finance, Doug McDaniel, Associate Director, is responsible for new loan originations for multifamily properties across the country with a focus on manufactured housing and student housing properties. Mr. McDaniel joined Walker & Dunlop’s multifamily finance department in 2016 has since been directly involved with the origination and closing of more than $3 billion in Agency financing. Mr. McDaniel began his career in the commercial real estate industry in 2012 with Greystone. While at Greystone, he held various roles within the underwriting and production teams and was ultimately promoted to a junior originator position for the firm’s Agency production team. Mr. McDaniel holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Mississippi, where he was also a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. Mr. McDaniel currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama with his wife, Mary Grace, and their daughter, Max.
