Derik Benson has 30 years of experience in the real estate industry as a broker. With his extensive experience representing tenants, landlords, buyers, and sellers, he thoroughly understands all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. In his real estate advisory practice, Derik focuses on guiding companies and organizations to fully informed and effective real estate decisions. Derik started at BT Commercial and earned his way to being a partner. Through mergers and acquisitions, BT Commercial evolved into Cushman & Wakefield, where he was a managing director. In January 2019, Derik moved to Kidder Mathews as a new company shareholder. Derik has completed over 1,000 deals totaling more than 10,000,000 square feet with an emphasis on building sales. He has been instrumental in the successful completion of over 350 sale transactions in his career. Since 2018, Derik has completed more than 100 sales for over $300,000,000.
