Derek serves as an Associate at the Northeast Private Client Group® in the real estate investment firm’s Shelton, Connecticut office. Joining the team in the Summer of 2023, Derek focuses on new business development and provides transactional support to the Metro North team. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Connecticut in 2020. Derek was interested in commercial real estate early on, as his father owns and manages an office building. He got his first taste of commercial real estate as an Accounting intern for a property management company, The Ashforth Company, in Stamford, CT. Upon graduation, he worked in customer service and sales, where he learned to provide comprehensive service and build strong client relationships. Later, he decided to combine his interest in real estate with his high-energy personality and join the team at Northeast Private Client Group®. Outside of work, Derek enjoys exercising, spending time outdoors with his dogs, and watching the New York Giants play. He also loves to spend time with his family and friends.
