Dennis Carson co-leads CBRE’s National Retail Partners Florida Team with his partner Casey Rosen. Mr. Carson is a Member of CBRE’s Institutional Group and is among the top retail property investment sales professionals nationally. Mr. Carson joined CBRE in 2007 as part of the company’s acquisition of Blackrock Retail Property Advisors, where he was co-managing principal since its inception in 1996. At the time of CBRE’s acquisition, Blackrock was among the Southeast region’s leading shopping center investment brokerage firms. Mr. Carson began his shopping center brokerage career in 1993 when he and Casey Rosen started an investment brokerage business unit within the Brandon Company, a shopping center management firm acquired by Trammell Crow Company in 1994. From 1989 to 1993, Mr. Carson was an Associate in Chemical Banking Corporation’s real estate finance group based in New York (now JP Morgan Chase). He worked in the real estate department’s national merchant banking group, focusing on national developer accounts and large loan syndications, real estate investment banking and loan restructuring.
