David Munson joined Boyd Commercial in February of 2009 after spending two and half years as the Leasing Director for First Industrial Realty Trust. A specialist in Industrial real estate David focuses on Landlord/Tenant and Buyer/Seller representation as well as investment properties in several submarkets in and around the Greater Houston Area.
While at First Industrial, David was solely responsible for leasing a portfolio of over five million square feet of industrial space as well as managing the leasing department. Since joining Boyd Commercial David has completed numerous complex industrial, land, office and investment transactions with a combined value in excess of $300,000,000.
David is a native Houstonian, where he attended Episcopal High School. David graduated from Southern Methodist University in 2003 with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance. While at SMU David was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order. David earned an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin in July 2012 while working full time at Boyd Commercial.
