About
Dave graduated from Duke University with a degree in Accounting. He first came to Amelia Island in 1974 when his family purchased a Captain's Court Villa on the Amelia Island Plantation. Dave moved here full-time with his family in 2001. He worked as a CPA with an international accounting firm before purchasing an Ice Manufacturing and Distribution Business in Jacksonville, Florida. After selling this successful business, Dave started a real estate development company whose primary focus was building and operating climate-controlled self-storage facilities. Dave joined James in 2016 and together they started the Miller Group. Dave has served on the Amelia Island Club Board and lives with his wife, Kathy, and their dog Sheldon at the Amelia Island Plantation.
