David Milestone joined Newmark in 2016 and currently serves as a vice chairman in the El Segundo, California, office. Mr. Milestone is responsible for originating and executing debt transactions throughout the Western U.S. He focuses on structuring, sourcing, marketing and placement of mortgage financings, mezzanine loans and structured financings for both single assets and property portfolios.
Prior to Newmark, Mr. Milestone spent 12 years as a senior member of Eastdil Secured’s debt placement practice, where he was instrumental in growing the debt platform from $4 billion to over $60 billion in annual volume. He personally executed more than $30 billion of financing transactions, primarily on behalf of institutional clients. Prior to Eastdil Secured, and its predecessor, Secured Capital Corp., Mr. Milestone worked in Arthur Andersen’s global structured finance and leasing practice.
Mr. Milestone holds a Master of Business Administration degree from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University.
