David Mahoney is Senior Managing Director in Savills Chicago office, responsible for developing and executing real estate strategies for leading corporate and nonprofit organizations around the US and globally. He leads major projects, handles portfolio transaction management, analysis of landlord structure and motivations, and provides market knowledge and intelligence, lease negotiations and strategic real estate advice to local and national clients. Prior to joining Savills, David was Senior Vice President at CBRE in Chicago. He has specialized expertise in advising clients from the legal, corporate, nonprofit and healthcare sectors. David’s experience has allowed him to work on complex projects in Chicago and he represents the top children’s hospital in the state, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Prior to entering the commercial real estate industry, David was a professional soccer player for the Chicago Fire of Major League Soccer, where he was a member of the Fire’s 2006 U.S. Open Cup championship team.
