Mr. Benharouch joined Meridian in 2017 and currently serves as a Vice President in the company’s Investment Sales and Retail Leasing office. He is a specialist in the sale of multifamily, mixed-use, hotel, office, student housing and development properties throughout New York City.
Prior to joining Meridian, Mr. Benharouch was working as a corporate lawyer at a major law firm. He subsequently spearheaded a major reorganization and automation of a prominent family business to optimize profitability and efficiency.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Benharouch has sold more than $300 million in commercial real estate. Notable property sales negotiated by Mr. Benharouch include 1760 Third Avenue, a 247,615 square foot student housing building located in the Upper East Side.
Mr. Benharouch, a native of Paris, France, graduated from law school at the University of Paris XII and economic school at the University of Paris IX Dauphine. He is also an active member of The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).
In April 2018, Real Estate Weekly honored Mr. Benharouch by naming him a “Rising Star” in the New York City investment sales market.
