Daniel L. Goodwin was the founder, chairman, and CEO of The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, Inc. He began his career as a science teacher on the city's West Side before venturing into real estate with colleagues Robert Baum, Joseph Cosenza, and Robert Parks. Under his leadership, Inland grew into one of the nation's largest commercial real estate, investment, and finance groups, raising over $26 billion in capital and conducting over $80 billion in commercial real estate transactions.
