Christopher Owles, Principal of Sinvin, has been a driving force in downtown commercial real estate for more than twenty years, purposefully helping both landlords and tenants achieve their goals.
Starting with his early careers Owles was driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and developed a keen appreciation for design. He ran an art gallery and then a design firm that specialized in architectural interiors and furniture design. These experiences paved the way to the world of commercial brokerage where his love for design helped him match creative companies with architecturally significant properties.
Owles has represented several high-profile tenants with their New York expansions, most prominently Away, Chobani, and James Perse. For each brand he completed multiple assignments, including both retail and office leases.
Much of Owles’ time is spent on landlord representation projects on high-end retail blocks and he has enjoyed longstanding relationships and repeat business from many of his clients, some of which have now transitioned into a second generation of family ownership.
