Christy Sheehan earned her bachelors degree in communications graduating from The Pennsylvania State University in 1999. She also was named an All American volleyball player while competing on the Penn State volleyball team, serving as captain and playing in two Final Four tournaments and two NCAA national championship games. Following her collegiate career, Christy went on to play professionally in the United States and Europe. Following her career as an athlete, she transitioned into the coaching ranks at The University of Texas at Austin, where she was responsible for coaching and recruiting, often landing the nation’s top recruiting classes. Pursuant to her career in volleyball, she entered the sales and marketing arena, working for over a decade in institutional pharmaceutical sales (Eli Lilly and Pfizer).
