Chris McCook joined NorthMarq’s Phoenix regional office in 2021 as a vice president. He assists in the origination of debt and equity for owners of multifamily real estate. Chris has considerable experience in the appraisal and valuation of multifamily properties, having appraised over a thousand properties throughout his career, hundreds of which were HUD-approved appraisals and market studies that were prepared in order to secure HUD-insured financing. His experience with these HUD programs and multifamily valuation is a crucial asset to Northmarq’s HUD team.
Chris has previously dedicated his career to the appraisal of commercial property types since 2009, with an ongoing specialty in multifamily valuation. He most recently served as a first vice president in Newmark Knight Frank’s Valuation & Advisory practice since 2017, where he specialized in HUD mortgage insurance programs, along with other agencies, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
