Cheryl Higley will be focused on originating multifamily loans out of NorthMarq’s Austin, Texas location. Cheryl has more than 22 years of experience generating debt/equity solutions for her customers that are acquiring or refinancing multifamily properties, with an emphasis in work force housing. Prior to joining NorthMarq, Cheryl has completed more than $500 million of multifamily loans while employed at Barings, Newmark and Dougherty Mortgage.
Cheryl holds an active Texas Real Estate salesperson license. She has been a long-time member of NMHC and MBAA, and served as President of the Dallas Mortgage Bankers Association in 2004. Cheryl graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri with a Bachelor of Science in Business Adminstration with a dual major of Finance & Real Estate.
