Charlie Kokernak is a Senior Production Associate in Gantry’s San Francisco office. While at Gantry he has underwritten and closed over $1.2BB in stabilized and structured debt through roughly 200 separate transactions from a wide variety of capital sources including life insurance, banks, credit unions, debt funds, and CMBS. Completed financing scenarios range from stabilized loans for traditional asset classes in addition to self-storage and hospitality, to structured debt and ground-up construction. Prior to joining Gantry Charlie worked for CBRE where he provided strategic financial support for portfolio acquisitions and leaseback transactions for a Fortune top 10 company, which afforded him experience from the commercial occupier’s perspective. He has also led the finance team for the Bank of America Affordable Housing Challenge, an extensive development competition that advanced his competence in financial modeling.
