Brian Gould joined Berkadia in 2023 as a Managing Director on the mortgage banking platform in Washington D.C. He arranges loans and JV Equity for commercial real estate owners and developers on various property types including multifamily, single-family rental, industrial, retail, office, self-storage, and more. A 22-year veteran of the commercial real estate finance field, Brian has closed more than $10 billion of financings throughout the country. Prior to joining Berkadia, Brian was a Managing Director at Chatham Financial, where he led a newly established CRE capital advisory team in Washington D.C. In his four years at Chatham, Brian and his team sourced over $1.5 billion of construction, bridge, and permanent financings for over 20 clients. Previously, Brian spent nine years with JBG SMITH (NYSE: JBGS) as a Senior Vice President, overseeing the financing needs of the company’s commercial real estate portfolio.
