Brian W. Colson joined Avison Young as a Principal in June of 2019, working in the Chicago-Rosemont office within the firm’s Industrial Practice Group. With over 20 years of real estate transactional experience, Brian delivers actionable real estate solutions for property owners, tenants and buyers in the greater Chicagoland area. Brian’s primary areas of focus include properties within the O’Hare and West suburban industrial markets. Over the past three years, he has completed industrial transactions valued in excess of $250 million. Prior to joining Avison Young, Brian worked at NAI Hiffman as an Executive Vice President/Principal. Before becoming a broker with NAI Hiffman in 1999, he held senior appraiser positions with LaSalle Appraisal Group and, previously, First Real Estate Services. Brian is actively involved with the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE) and is currently pursuing both the SIOR and CCIM designations. In 2004, AIRE Honored Brian with the coveted Frank Mahoney Award for Excellence, recognizing the top producing member of the organization who has been a broker for 5 years or less. Brian is a licensed broker in the State of Illinois.
