Bret Hardy joined Newmark in 2017 at the firm’s Downtown Los Angeles office, where he serves as an executive managing director and member of the Western Region Capital Markets Team. Mr. Hardy focuses exclusively on managing institutional industrial investment sales in the firm’s Western Region. A 27-year industry veteran, Mr. Hardy has served as the lead broker on eight multistate/nationwide single-tenant portfolio dispositions and has completed transactions with a combined value of $4.6 billion. He brings to his position a deep understanding of structured finance vehicles such as synthetic leases, sale/leasebacks, UPREITs, joint ventures and alternative tax-oriented lease investments. He also has extensive knowledge and expertise in the field of single-tenant net lease properties. Mr. Hardy joined Newmark after more than 16 years in the Los Angeles office of Colliers International.
