About
Brad Shaffer, senior managing director, is responsible for all aspects of the marketing process for properties located in secondary and tertiary markets throughout Texas. Responsibilities include client development, pricing strategies, valuation/modeling, marketing, as well as negotiation and closing of transactions. Before joining the Secondary Markets team, Mr. Shaffer served as a Transaction Manager for Newmark Houston where he managed client relationships and provided financial, analytical, and property level support on Houston assets.
Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Shaffer worked at Weingarten Realty as a Senior Financial Analyst, where his responsibilities included proforma analysis, acquisitions underwriting, redevelopment analysis and investor relations.
Mr. Shaffer received his Master of Real Estate and BBA in finance from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
