Robert Alan Faith is an American businessman and the founder, chairman, and CEO of Greystar Real Estate Partners. He grew up in Oklahoma and earned a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Oklahoma. After a recession made petroleum engineer jobs less available, he opted to get an MBA from Harvard University, graduating in 1986. Faith started his career at Trammell Crow Company and co-founded Starwood Capital Group with Barry Sternlicht. He founded Greystar in 1993 and has led the company to become the largest operator of apartments in the United States, with $45.1 billion of assets under management as of November 2021.
