About Andrew Berry Andrew Berry is a Director in the New York Middle Market Investment Sales Group of Cushman & Wakefield, where he works alongside Michael DeCheser, Senior Managing Director, focusing on Alphabet City, Chinatown, and the Lower East Side. Previously, he was an Associate at Massey Knakal Realty Services, which was acquired by Cushman & Wakefield on December 31, 2014.
Since joining Cushman, Andrew has handled the sale of over $850 million worth of commercial real estate in New York City. Notable transactions include the $284 million sale of the fee position of 760 Madison Avenue, the $111.5 million portfolio sale of four residential conversion buildings on the Upper West Side at 30 Morningside Heights, and a long-term master lease for the retail at the base of the Carlyle Hotel. Andrew has sold a mixture of multifamily, mixed-use, office, retail and development deals and has worked on behalf of a variety of different clients, including large investment funds, non-for-profits and families.
He was a starting defender for the Bates College men’s varsity lacrosse team. Andrew also spent a semester studying abroad in Stockholm, Sweden where he studied Comparative Public Policy, World Economics and Globalization. While at Bates College, Andrew organized a field day for local children. He also attended a service trip to Kingston, Jamaica where he improved a medical center and worked with a local school. Close
