My career started in Philadelphia after I graduated in 2008, right when the financial markets were crumbling and the economy was moving in the same trajectory. I had accepted a job with Otis Elevator selling and managing maintenance contracts for some of the largest high rises and casinos in Philadelphia and Atlantic City. It was a tough time to cut your teeth in sales! While I didn’t stay in the elevator industry, I found my passion for real estate when talking to my clients about their building portfolios, tenant mix, capital planning and overall strategy. It was also a great time to learn the value of being a resource to the client and finding creative solutions to solve challenging problems. I feel privileged to be a part of the NAI Hiffman team and to be living in Chicago, an industrial market of 1.25 billion square feet of product. The opportunities are endless if you work hard and treat people well.
