Alan Chabbott
Alan studied finance at Queens College with the assumption that fluency in finance management would position him advantageously in a deal-making world like New York and would help him understand how others choose to structure their deals. Prior to joining EXR, he interned for a year at a small office doing equity deals in Midtown which led to another opportunity at Meridian Capital’s then new investment sales division where he learned the bulk of his technical knowledge. After that, he did leasing around the Brooklyn Navy Yard for creative art studios where he met incredible people and learned the intricacies of deal making, his favorite part of what he does today.
