Aaron Moayed specializes in the disposition and acquisition of Multi-Family properties. He is part of The Moayed Group whose experience includes both Market Rate apartments and Affordable Housing apartments (e.g., HUD Project-Based Section 8, USDA Rural Development 515, and Section 42 Low-Income Housing Tax Credit properties).
Additionally, Aaron specializes in 1031 tax-deferred exchanges—many of which include his clients exchanging into larger apartment complexes or triple-net leased investments.
Aaron graduated with honors from California State University, Sacramento with a Real Estate Finance degree. From there, Aaron went straight for his Broker’s license using his Real Estate Finance degree as an Education in Lieu of Experience. With a strong passion to excel, he then completed a Commercial Real Estate Certificate Program from the Ivy League school Cornell University. Aaron has acquired the Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) and Novogradac Property Compliance Certification (NPCC) designations and has completed several Novogradac workshops/books.
