The renowned father and son team of Michael and Gil Dezer own 27 acres of prime oceanfront property in Sunny Isles Beach, including eleven hotels, such as the Dezerland Beach Resort and Spa, Suez, Thunderbird, Driftwood, Monaco and Golden Nugget. The Dezers started buying oceanfront hotel properties in 1995, and are credited as major players in the rebirth of Sunny Isles Beach. In addition to their Miami Beach properties, the Dezers’ New York holdings encompass more than twenty properties including the Simon Dezer Building on Fifth Avenue, the Dezerland, the Chelsea Antiques Building, The Chelsea Design Center and the Chelsea Arts Forum. Dezer Development is headquartered in New York City.
