Verda Raises $189 Million In Series B Round Led By Emergence Capital

Verda, the Helsinki-based full-stack AI cloud company, raised $189 million in an oversubscribed Series B led by Emergence Capital, bringing its total funding to more than $450 million. Founded in 2020 by CEO Ruben Bryon as DataCrunch, Verda operates AI infrastructure across 50+ countries and reached a $165 million annualized revenue run rate in July 2026; the new funding will support more than 250 MW of operations by 2027 and expand capacity across Europe, the UK, U.S. and Asia.
