Cognex has agreed to acquire RealSense for approximately $500 million in cash, expanding its industrial machine-vision business into robotic perception and Physical AI. RealSense CEO Nadav Orbach said the deal will give the company access to Cognex’s global industrial customer base and go-to-market reach, while Cognex expects RealSense to generate $80 million-$90 million in 2026 revenue.
