Luxor Technology, a full-stack compute company, raised $16 million in a strategic funding round led by CMT Digital, with participation from Canaan, MicroBT, Halo, Steelhead and angel investors. The company will use the funding to scale its AI cloud platform, expand its AI hardware business, grow its compute derivatives trading and market-making operations, and hire across engineering and go-to-market teams. The raise follows the September launch of Luxor AI, which expands the company’s Bitcoin mining infrastructure expertise into AI and high-performance computing. Nick Hansen, Luxor’s CEO and co-founder, said the investors bring expertise across hardware, capital and power to strengthen the company’s platform.
