Having spent the entirety of his career in the real estate industry, Robert Hunter has deep experience and industry contacts that he leverages to help his clients make informed investment decisions.

Prior to Douglas Elliman, Robert started a commercial real estate advisory firm, assisting high net worth individuals and family offices in pursuit of multifamily, office, industrial and retail projects. Robert also served as the Vice President of Investments for a private equity real estate firm in Los Angeles. His primary responsibilities included evaluating the financial viability of potential acquisitions and assisting with strategic capital events including refinancing and disposition of current assets. Prior to this role, Robert worked for a prominent real estate development company and a public equity REIT research firm in Newport Beach.

Robert earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley and completed his MBA from Oxford University. Robert also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
