Clem Coté is a Managing Principal and a founding member of Sovereign Realty Group. He began his career in early 1998 in commercial real estate, with a focus on retail and industrial sales and leasing. In 2006, Clem made a full time transition to investment sales, specializing in retail redevelopment properties, retail net leased (NNN) properties, shopping centers, strip malls, mixed use, and multi-family residential properties. Clem’s strong research skills allowed him to assemble a comprehensive database of properties nationwide. Through this database and network of property owners, he is able to help potential clients facilitate their buying requirements, oftentimes under the time constraints of an IRS 1031 exchange. Spanning the course of his career, Clem has consulted on hundreds of transactions, ranging from the sale of NNN properties to the acquisition of car dealership franchises on Long Island. Some of the more recognizable NNN tenants involved in the property sales include CVS, Walgreens, McDonalds, People’s United Bank, Stop & Shop, 7-Eleven and Dunkin Donuts.
